• Many people suffer a temporary handicap that is caused by hip replacement or some similar surgery and need an appliance like a Walker, Wheelchair and crutch during their rehabilitation. After the recovery these aids are discarded.

• When you come across such aids be it a wheelchair, crutches, walking sticks, etc., contact us to donate the equipment to the Appliance Bank.

Freedom Trust has spread its wings to different parts of India. This would not have been possible without the help of the various NGO's and Volunteers across India. • Camps are part and parcel of Freedom Trust. This includes Assessment, Distribution and Follow up of all the beneficiaries. Your organisation or you can sponsor a camp.

• A camp host typically takes the responsibility of making sure everything required for the camp is organised before our medical team visits for assessment, distribution or follow up.

The following are some key tasks a camp host does:

i. Identify a local partner and collaborate with them

ii. Identify disability needs in their neighbouring areas

iii. Identify a place that is conducive to the people with disability.

iv. Communicate with beneficiaries and their families in making sure they are present at the camp for assessment

The hosts play a pivotal role in reaching the medical and rehabilitation services to the beneficiaries by taking care of all logistics involved in conducting a camp. This helps the team from Freedom Trust to focus on the medical aspects and to reach out to more beneficiaries in an effective manner both on the time and cost dimensions. We have a large network of local organisations across India that have hosted many camps and we thank them immensely for without their support we wouldn't be able to carry our key projects successfully.

• Contribute your time towards administrative tasks in conducting camps, upkeep of the Appliance Bank and other key projects

• Train beneficiaries with job-oriented skills

• Create job opportunities for the beneficiaries

• Persuading people individually and through CSR to donate towards this wonderful cause
